NCL Cruise Line - Destination Bermuda
NCL Cruise Line, or Norwegian Cruise Line, has three ships that offer trips to Bermuda. These cruise ships depart from four United States ports - Boston, New York, Charleston and Philadelphia. The three vessels are Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Dream and Norwegian Majesty. NCL Cruise Line offers a seven-day cruise to Bermuda from New York aboard the Norwegian Dawn ship. The Dawn has four stateroom types - the Inside, with fares starting at $649; Oceanview which starts at $699; Oceanview with Balcony, with the lowest rate at $949; and Suites, with the lowest fare at $1,749.
The Dawn vessel has 12 restaurants including Cagney's and Teppanyaki Room, a casino, three swimming pools, bars and lounges, a fitness center and spa and a theater. Aside from the staterooms, this vessel also has two Garden Villas, each having its own living room, dining room and three bedrooms. A whirlpool bath, a private garden and a terrace are also part of the Villas' amenities. The Norwegian Dream is another of the brand's ships offering a Bermuda cruise. It has six restaurants, nine lounges and bars, the Stardust Theatre and a casino. It also features the Observatory Lounge where passengers can have a full view of the setting sun. A seven-day Bermuda cruise offers a starting rate of $649, with suites offered for as low as $1,649. The Dream vessel is ideal for families with small children and even teenagers. The ambience is more intimate than larger vessels, but activities are aplenty, particularly those offered under the shore excursion program. It has a casual atmosphere which fully represents its mid-market range of rates. One of the best aspects of having a cruise at the Norwegian Dream is that you get to eat on restaurants with window walls that offer expansive views of the ocean. The third ship on the NCL fleet that sails to Bermuda is the Norwegian Majesty. It has a seven-day package Bermuda-Philadelphia round trip, with fares starting at $499. Just like the Norwegian Dream, it has six restaurants, including the Seven Seas and the Four Seasons. It also has the Palace Theater, the Polo Club lounge and the Frame 52 dance club. The ship offers aerobic classes and has a fitness center and a spa. The Majesty has been praised for its wide variety of dining options despite being smaller than its contemporaries. The public rooms are cozy and the whole vessel has an intimate, relaxing ambience. The aspect of the ship that has received high marks among reviewers, though, is the activity programs for children, making Majesty one of the most highly recommended ships for families with children seeking a cruise vacation. The Norwegian is one of the cruise lines that do not allow drinks to be taken onboard. It conducts an alcohol detection exercise before passengers are allowed to embark. Alcoholic beverages, sodas and even bottled water should be purchased on the ships. Passengers are also required to be on board two hours before sailing, primarily for security reasons.
